Recap 2021 Autumn Internationals tournament

England versus Tonga

During week 2 of the Autumn Internationals, England played their first match of this tournament in 2021. Tonga is a Polynesian country, comprising several islands and the number 16 on the world rugby rankings. England is third on the rankings, so they should be the better team in this battle. This match showed that England indeed is the better team, they ran 11 tries and beat Tonga with 69-3. A great start of their Autumn Internationals series.

England versus Australia

The built up in strength of the opponents was perfect for England in this tournament. After facing the 16th placed Tonga, the second match was against the 6th placed Australia. While the next match will be against the top ranked South Africa. A perfect run for England to test themselves for the Six Nations tournament. After an easy victory against Tonga, this match against Australia was already harder for England. Nevertheless, they got a victory with 32-15.

England versus South Africa

The last match of this series was against the leader on the world rugby ranking, South Africa. A rematch of the 2019 World Cup Rugby final. Watch this final back below:
