2022 Six Nations results round 3

Time flies when you’re having fun. Something that’s definitely true for the current edition of the Six Nations tournament. Last weekend was already the third round of this tournament. With five rounds in total, it means we’re already over the half of the 2022 Six Nations. In this article we look at the results of last weekend, which teams did a good job and who failed?

Scotland versus France

The first match of last weekend was the battle between Scotland and France. The French side were the favourites to win this tournament and showed why by winning their first two matches. Scotland won one and lost one at the start. Now they can show how strong they really are when facing France. It was France who took the lead early in this game and never gave it back. Scotland got it back to 10-12 before France went on a run to lift to score to 10-36. From this moment on France eased down and Scotland got the score back to 17-36.

England versus Wales

England versus Wales was a very exciting match. Both teams lost their first match but won their second. In the third round one of both teams could add their second victory to their tally. England took a big lead in this match getting the score to 17-0. When Wales got back to 17-12, it was England again who extended the lead to 23-12. From that moment on it was Wales’ match again, but the score stopped at 23-19. A good victory for England, who will face Ireland next. Book all your Six Nations tickets here!
