Concussion

Just now the safety of the sport has been discussed by many. Several players started a lawsuit against World Rugby, because they feel the sport isn’t safe. Tom Curry said he trust the scientists and has full confidence in his long-term health. According to Curry the sport has been making huge steps to get safer and safer each day.

Sporting background

The Curry family is a very sportive one. Former England hooker John Olver is Curry’s uncle, while Cousin Sam Olver plays for Doncaster Knights. Tom and his brother Ben are both huge Manchester City fans. In their youth of playing football, both got a trial for Manchester City to see if they could make it into the youth academy. A spectacular own goal by Tom hampered their dreams to play for Manchester City. We can safely say everything turned out well for Tom in the end. Tom was the fourth-youngest English Sale Sharks player to played in the competition. Even more impressive is that he’s the youngest forward since 1912 to play for the national team.
