Six Nations 2022 recap

Just like all rugby fans, we’re really excited about the return of the Six Nations tournament in February of next year. The 2023 Six Nations tournament is going to be another very interesting one. Is England ready to get the title back after not winning it for two years? Before we’re going to look forward at the 2023 version, it’s time to look back at the 2022 Six Nations tournament.

Grand Slam for France

France has always been a very good rugby nation. They are the third nation on the Six Nations ranking. England won the most tournament, Wales is second and then come France. Wales won only 2 more Grand Slams, after playing 35 editions more. This shows how good France has been since joining the tournament. The French rugby team completely dominated the 2022 Six Nations tournament and won all five matches. Their 9-13 win over Wales was by far the closest match during their 2022 Six Nations journey. Something that was quite shocking since Wales finished in fifth place.

England 2022 Six Nations results

England played a pretty poor tournament for their qualities. They won only two games and therefore finished in third place. Victories over fifth and sixth place Wales and Italy got them all their points this year. They really need to improve in 2023 if they want to do better. English rugby fans will expect them to do better since a third place isn’t they level we expect from the team. England Six Nations tickets will be more popular if the team gets of to a great start.
