Barca attacks, Inter scores

Barcelona immediately showed its intensions from the start. They took the ball and tried to open the score. After roughly ten minutes Inter got more into the game and started attacking the Barcelona goal. Denzel Dumfries knew where to find Lautaro Martinez and it was the Argentinian who opened the score for Inter. Right before half-time, Inter Milan got the perfect opportunity to pretty much seal the deal in this semi-final. Cubarsi fouled Martinez and the referee awarded a penalty after VAR interference. Hakan Çalhanoğlu netted the penalty and handed Inter a 2-0 lead.

Barcelona comeback completed in 15 minutes

At half-time the overall feeling was Inter Milan was going through to the Champions League final. 15 minutes into the second half it was all open again. With goals from Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo the score was level again. The second match is now just as exciting as the first one. Barcelona usually has one style of play, grabbing the ball and trying to attack. That’s exactly what they did after the 2-2. In the 87th minute it looked like Raphinha put Barca in the final when he scored the 2-3. But this match wouldn’t be this match without another twist. In injury time Acerbi got the 12th goal of this tie, to bring the score on 6-6 over 2 legs.
