After England's exit from the Rugby World Cup, with losses to Wales and Australia, new England head coach Jones has his sights set on a victory for England in their first game of 2016, a Rugby Six Nations match away at Scotland on 6 February. Rugby Hall of Fame 2015

South Africa’s Rugby World Cup 2015 tie with Scotland was marked by the induction of former South African president Nelson Mandela into World Rugby’s Hall of Fame at a special ceremony.

Mandela had presented Francois Pienaar with the Webb Ellis Cup in 1995 while wearing the Springbok jersey, once a symbol for Apartheid, the regime Mandala strived to overthrow in his brave battle for freedom and equality.

Mandala demonstrated that rugby is a vehicle for unity of people of diverse cultures and nations as tens of thousands of South African and Scottish rugby fans came together at the 2015 World Cup.

By passionately supporting the Springboks, Mandela set a stellar example and was instrumental in turning Rugby World Cup 1995 into a momentous occasion that united the South African nation through the power of sport. Mandela helped to change peoples’ attitudes, warm hearts and perhaps change history for his country.

Hall of Fame 2015 figures were chosen recently as 26 of the greatest rugby players in the world were inducted into the World Rugby's Hall of Fame.

The World Rugby Hall of Fame recognizes players and others that have made an indelible mark on rugby on the playing field, displaying great character, or through their tireless and inspirational work in promoting the sport of rugby.

Eighteen captains of their national teams were included in the list. The warmest, loudest and longest round of fan applause was for former Springbok captain Joost van der Westhuizen. Out of 26 inductees into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2015, 20 players came from Rugby 6 Nations national teams.
